BREAKING: Manchester City face Real Madrid in UCL last-16

Manchester City have drawn Real Madrid in the last-16 of the Champions League.

Manchester City have enjoyed handy draws in recent cup competitions but it seems they have ran out of luck this time.

Manchester City, who topped a Champions League group featuring Atalanta, Shakhtar Donetsk and Dinamo Zagreb, have been handed Basel and Schalke at this stage in the past two seasons.

However, Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri has said Manchester City are favourites to win the Champions League this season because they will prioritise success in Europe this season.

Also, speaking on Sky Sports News, former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock said Manchester City should not fear this Real Madrid side.

“I don’t think it’s the same Real team that beat Liverpool in 2018, especially without Cristiano Ronaldo. I think this is a good time to play them, and they may have Aymeric Laporte back.”
