Justice Folashade Giwa Ogunbanjo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday October 22, 2019, gave an order, authorizing the federal government to take over 23 properties belonging to the former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina.

The EFCC confirmed this in a statement issued by its spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren.

Uwujaren said the Justice Ogunbanjo forfeiture pronouncement was sequel to the exparte motion, filled by the EFCC, seeking Maina’s interim forfeiture of the properties to the Nigerian Government pending the completion of its investigations.
