Gunmen kill 6 in attack on Benue IDP camp

Gunmen early hours of Tuesday killed six people in an attack on a camp for internally displaced people in Abagena, along Makurdi-Lafia highway in Benue state.

Many people were injured.

Residents of the camp for displaced people have fled in droves.

Vehicles coming and going out of Makurdi have been unable to proceed on account of bonfires on the road.
