There are strong indications that the All Progressives Grand Alliance is not ready to vacate Government House, Awka, Anambra State.
Professor Chukwuma Soludo, its candidate in the ongoing gubernatorial election, is currently leading in more than two-thirds of the Local Government Areas of the state.
Senator Ifenayi Uba of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have won one LGA each.
While Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is yet to win any LGA.
Results of two LGAs are being expected for the exercise to be brought to a close.
Although there are 21 LGAs in Anambra, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that elections did not hold in Ihiala LGA.
In all, Soludo has a total of 99,159 votes, followed by Ozigbo with 49,475, and Uba with 40,270 votes.
