Abiodun Oyebanji, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election in Ekiti State, is leading his opponents by a margin of 104,846 votes.
Results announced at collation centres of 10 Local Government Areas showed that Oyebanji has polled a total of 187-846 votes, while Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) trails with 82,211 votes and Bisi Kolawole of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), came a distant third with 67,457 votes.
Oyebanji won in 15 LGAs, while Kolawole took the remaining one.
Oyebanji has won in Ikere, Emure, Ekiti South West, Ekiti West, Oye, Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ikole, Ido-Osi, Ado, Gbonyin, Ekiti East, Moba, Ilejemeje and Ise/Orun LGAs.
Kolawole won in Efon LGA.
