Following the imposition of a 24-hour curfew in Lagos State, all inbound and outbound flights to the state have been cancelled.
The state government declared the curfew following escalating violence in the wake of the #EndSARS protests in the state.
Daily Trust reports that activities at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, the busiest airport in the county, have been paralysed with protesters taking over roads leading to the airport.
Arik Air has issued a statement announcing the cancellation of its flights for Wednesday.
All booked passengers on the cancelled flights are advised to reschedule their flights for later dates at no extra cost, spokesman of the airline Ola Adebanji.
