Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State on Tuesday terminated the employment of Commissioner for Health, Dr Salihu Kwayabura.
Though no reason was given, the governor’s Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy, Malam Isa Gusau, said the employment of Kwayabura was ended as part of measures to improve the public health sector.

In the meantime, the Chief of Staff, Isa Hussani Marte, a professor of pharmacology was directed to supervise the ministry.
