Sheriff stated this in his remark at a ceremony staged at the Ramat Square in Maiduguri to celebrate his 6th year in office which was witnessed by a mammoth crowd.
The governor said his administration has saved so much money that would make self sufficient in the execution of numerous projects before his exit. Though Sheriff did not announce how much was in the state’s coffers, he said the money was intact.
He was also upbeat that his administration had executed series of projects without borrowing a single kobo from any financial establishment, maintaining that his government recorded so much out of prudent management of resources.
