Border communities dev’t agency hands over projects in Kebbi

The Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) has handed over completed projects executed by the agency in border communities in Kebbi State to the state government.

The Executive Secretary (BCDA), Capt. Junaid Abdullahi, handed over a block of six classrooms with headmaster’s office and a store with solar powered borehole and steel overhead tank at LEA Primary School, Birnin Kebbi and Nizammiyya Primary School, Yauri. 

A statement from BCDA, signed by its Head, Public Affairs, Sadiq Abdullahi Isa, said the agency’s mandate is to ensure sustainable social, economic and infrastructural development of border communities in the country.

The agency also said from 2015 till date it has built 83 projects comprising of 55 capital projects and 28 zonal intervention projects in border communities in Kebbi State.
