Book on climate change awareness launched for schools

A non-governmental organization, Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation (GIFSEP), has launched a book entitled “Understanding Climate Change: A Guide for Secondary Schools in Nigeria,” aimed at tackling the catastrophic impact of climate change on agricultural production and food security in Nigeria.

Executive Director of GIFSEP, David Terungwa, who made the call at the book launch and capacity building of schools on climate change for Abuja secondary schools, said the aim of the project was to apply practical ways to address environmental challenges.
