At the Court sitting yesterday, only two of the three accused persons were arraigned, while the other suspect Aminu Lawan was absent for the third time. Counsel to the two accused persons Sa’adatu and Haruna, Barrister Idris Jibo, who asked the court to grant them bail could not succeed, because of the absence of one of the suspects Lawan. Presiding Judge, Justice MT Salihu had earlier in their first arraignment in December last year ordered the Federal Government to produce all the accused persons in court.

Counsel to the Federal Government Barrister Alex Adama, who was present at the court, was asked the court to give him more time, because he was outside the country. Justice Salihu adjourned the suit to March 20 to enable the Federal Government amend the charges and make proper arraignment.
