Coach Kennedy Boboye of Sunshine Stars FC has extended his contract with the Akure club side for another Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The former Plateau United, Abia Warriors and Heartland coach was unveiled in February following the sack of Edith Agoye
Femi Atolagbe, the Club’s Media Officer, stated this in a statement yesterday in Akure.
He said that the Board of Ondo State Football Agency has also approved the appointment of Bobola Akinfolarin as the first Assistant Coach, and Gbenga Okunnua as second Assistant Coach.

Atolagbe said that until he was appointed First Assistant Coach of Sunshine Stars, Akinfolarin was the Technical Director of Sunshine Queens. He was also one of the pioneer players of Sunshine Stars FC.
“Also, the duo of John Gardi and Kayode Emmanuel also retained their positions as the Goalkeeper Trainer and Physical Trainer respectively,” he said.
He quoted the Executive Chairman of the Board, Bamidele Ologunloluwa, saying the appointment of the coaches was with immediate effect.
Ologunloluwa charged the new coaching crew to work harmoniously for the good performance of the team.(NAN)
