The event which took place at the Agunyi Ironsi Cantonment, Sports Complex, Asokoro, Abuja, saw pupils from Blue House dominating their counterparts from Green, Red and Yellow Houses to emerge victor.
Red House, Yellow House and Green House took second, third and fourth positions respectively.
In the match past, Blue House showed their invincibility by taking the first position, leaving Green House, Yellow House and Red House to take the second, third and fourth positions respectively.
Races competed for in the one-day event among others were 100m, 200m, Sack race, relay races.
In attendance to watch the pupils and cheer them to victory were parents, wards, school pupils from other schools and sports-loving residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
At the end of the event, a giant trophy was presented to the overall winner, Blue House, while other houses were rewarded with trophies and other prizes.
Also individuals that distinguished themselves in the races they participated in were also rewarded with prizes, which are meant to encourage them to continue to take part in sports.
