Three men out of 47 communicants examined were rejected by the bishop on ground of marriage.

Thirteen women were equally admitted into the Women’s Guild and Mothers’ Union of Church of Nigeria respectively.

The bishop of the diocese, Rt. Rev. Chidi Collins Oprarojiaku in a sermon at the special church service marking his Episcopal visit to the Christ Anglican Church Adalpalm advised the confirmed persons to see themselves as new persons before God.

Oprarojiaku enjoined the new communicants to allow the white which they wore for the confirmation to reflect in their lives always while appealing to them to learn to forgive one another in order to avoid the wrath of God.

The bishop advised both the communicants and the mothers to be weary of temptations so as to know how to avoid them whenever they come their ways.

He stressed that temptation is bound to come because it is part of the upbringing of any human being but what matters most is the way and manner believers approach it to become a winner.  The prelate reminded the congregation that the only way they can become conquerors is by being prayerful always.

Oparaojiaku said temptation brings about doubt in one’s life and problem between man and his creator. He admonished Christians to live their lives according to God’s plans.

The administrator of Ohaji West Archdeaconry, Rev. Canon Sam Onyeuma while welcoming the bishop advised the newly confirmed and mothers to live by example and remain ambassadors of Christ and the church wherever they find themselves.

Similar events were held at Mgbuisii Missionary Archdeaconry as 31 persons were confirmed while eight women were admitted into women’s guild of the diocese by the bishop.
