A suspected motorcycle thief has been lynched in Kwaita village market in Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
A witness, Shuaibu Aliyu, said the incident happened on Friday around 2pm when one Suleiman parked his motorcycle and went into the market to buy goods and that the suspect destroyed the keyhole and escaped with the motorcycle.
He further said, “As God would have, someone seated in a corner who saw how the suspect was struggling to escape with the motorcycle raised alarm and gave him a hot chase where he was apprehended and killed by a mob.”
Aliyu noted that, “There is no Kwaita market day that passes without reports of motorcycles being stolen.”
