The Police in Benue State have arrested six people in connection with the killing of Gboko South Ward Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tersoo Ahu.
Ahu was killed after fight broke out at the venue of the party’s ongoing revalidation of membership exercise in Gboko area of the state.

The incident happened at a hotel where Ad hoc saddled with the responsibility of conducting the party’s registration/revalidation of membership were being trained.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Catherine Anene, told newsmen in Makurdi on Wednesday that six persons have been arrested in connection with the crime.
Anene also said the case is still under investigation.
Daily Trust recalls that certain persons allegedly belonging to a faction of the APC in Gboko had stormed the venue of the exercise and demanded to know how the ad hoc staff were selected.
