The Benue State Government has disclosed plans to beautify Makurdi, the state capital, for the celebration of the yuletide.
The Commissioner for Works and Housing, Isaac Imojime Tiza, who disclosed this at the weekend when he hosted the state’s Correspondents’ Chapel members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), said, “We are making frantic efforts to make the town look beautiful before the yuletide. We will try to make our city get back its glory.”

Tiza also informed that the renovation of the state civil service secretariat would commence soon as efforts were underway to do so.
