The Benue State-owned transport company, popularly known as ‘Benue Links’ has rewarded two drivers for exhibiting good conduct and professionalism behind the wheel.
Our correspondent reports that the duo – Asengebee Emmanuel Gberindyer and Benjamin Agada, popularly known as Pastor Ben – were rewarded with automatic employment with the state government-owned company.
They were both before the reward of employment drivers under the Private Partnership (PP) arrangement of the company.
Agada’s story of good driving and engaging his passengers with respect went viral for his professional conduct in October, 2023 while conveying passengers from Otukpo to Abuja.

Gberindyer was also celebrated virally on social media recently for driving professionally and carefully when he conveyed passengers from Makurdi to Gboko.
The Acting General Manager of Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Comrade Alexander Fanafa, on behalf of management staff of the company offered an automatic employment to Gberindyer and Agada.
Fanafa made the announcement when he received Gberindyer in his office on Monday and congratulated both men for doing the company proud and urged them to keep up with the character of excellence even as they continue driving in the new role.
Fanafa posited that the management under his watch will always continue to reward drivers who stand out professionally while also not hesitating to wield the big stick on those who have refused to change from their reckless nature.
