The Executive Director of the centre for Development and Livelihood Enhancement (CDLE) Nigeria, Iyah Iyah has emerged the Benue governorship candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) .
Iyah Iyah, who is also the Lead of the minority interest rights advocates for Nigeria (MIRAN) was unanimously affirmed by proclamation by all the party delegates present at the party primaries in Makurdi at the weekend.
According to a release from his media office, “Iyah Iyah is seen as the alternative third force with the pedigree and experience from zone C, which has never produced a governor since the creation of the state in 1976. His base is mainly with young people and non-politicians who are tired of the old order”.
