The remains of the late Benue State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Saleh Emmanuel Ikwulono, has been buried in his hometown in Agatu Local Government Area.

Dr Ikwulono died in early November this year at the age of 43, barely three months after he was sworn into office as commissioner.

The Benue State government during the deceased burial promised to sponsor his children to the university level.

Governor Samuel Ortom who announced the government’s decision in Obagaji, Agatu LGA at the funeral of the deceased, said the late commissioner’s children deserved academic support.

The governor noted that Dr  Ikwulono was a brilliant man who became a medical consultant at a relatively young age and had an instant impact as a member of the State Executive Council.

Ortom, on behalf of the state government, further prayed God to grant the departed health commissioner eternal rest and the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
