The Social Orientation and Safety (So-Safe) Corps, an Ogun State Government-owned security outfit, has arrested a 40-year-old bricklayer, Saheed Erinfolami, for stealing a vehicle in Ilaro area of the state.

Erinfolami, a native of Ipobe, Republic of Benin, was said to have fled with a Volkwagen bus registered as REE 907 XA with Chassis Number WV2ZZZ70ZVH079738, belonging to his employer, Igbeyinadun, a bakery in the state.

A statement by the corps’ spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, reads in part: “The State Operation Team and Ilaro Area Command of the corps swung into action and were able to gather intelligence that the bus is still within Ilaro axis. The suspect was smoked out of hiding and arrested.

“He confessed that after bread was supplied on that faithful day, he decided to go away with the bus and took it to a brother called Elewedu in Ilaro to get a buyer.
