Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, yesterday signed into law the 2023 appropriation bill of N172 billion passed by the House of Assembly.
During the event at the Lugard House, Lokoja, Bello thanked members and staff of the assembly for their patriotism and service to their fatherland.
He noted that the synergy among the three arms of government in the state would continue as it had yielded positive results, which according to him, were evident in the smooth running of government and implementation of projects and programmes.
The Speaker of the house, Mathew Kolawole, hailed the governor for his commitment and support to the assembly over the years, while noting that the current assembly had been flourishing tremendously in its legislative business with the support of the executive.
