…Begins debate on cattle movement

The Senate yesterday began debate on a bill to restrict the movement of cattle in the country.
The bill tagged: Cattle Movement (Control)  sponsored by Senator Chukuwuka Utazi (PDP, Enugu North)  yesterday scaled through the first reading.  It is expected to be listed for second reading in July when the senators return from their Sallah break.  
The bill came up a day after a bill seeking the establishment of National Grazing Reserves Agency scaled through first reading.
