An 18-seater bus conveying intending pilgrims from Nasarawa State to Abuja for airlifting to Saudi Arabia on Thursday for the 2023 Hajj has been involved in a road crashÂ
Daily Trust gathered that the accident occurred around Kara, Keffi Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.
Details of the accident were still sketchy but it was gathered that some occupants sustained injuries.

Confirming the incident in an interview with newsmen in Lafia, the state capital, the Executive Secretary of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr. Idris Ahmed-Al-Makura, said that the intending pilgrims involved in the accident were in good health.
According to him, the board has been in-touch with the victims, saying that the doctor who has already certified them okay and ready to continue their journey.
He, however, revealed that a total of 2,100 intending pilgrims will be performing the pilgrimage this year and out of the number, 800 are female while 1,300 are male.
