The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Dr. Henry Ajagbawa, says the company has disengaged 10 staff across its franchise areas who have been found guilty of acting against the company’s policies.
He said this yesterday while briefing journalists on his 100 days in office.

Ajagbawa further said that BEDC had engaged the services of forensic auditors to audit the number of meters supplied by the federal government to the company during the National Mass Metering Programme.
He claimed that the said meters supplied under the programme before he assumed office could not be accounted for at the moment.
