Be cautious of criminal bike snatchers

On Sunday, March 19th, 2022, I accompanied a friend of mine to the General Hospital Azare, well-known as Asibitin Ali Kwara, to see a medical professional as he was suffering from a severe stomach ache.

As we showed up on a non-working day and a doctor was notified by one of the emergency receptionists that there was an emergency case. Unfortunately, the doctor told him that he was out of town and would not be available until the following day.

Amid heartbreaking minutes, some unknown individuals came in with their friend, who suffered a serious cut on the head with what looked like a sharp object.

After exchanging pleasantries, I asked one of them about this tragic incident, which caused the injury to their friend, and he responded that it was bike snatchers and they had run away with it after nailing him.

Therefore, I recommend the government concerned and security agencies keep a close eye on these perpetrators’ movements – especially on Sundays. This is because a large percentage of such incidents happen on this day. It is, after all, market day.

I equally implore the economically frustrated individuals to persevere and tolerate their economic hardship by not harassing or hurting those who hardly struggle to sustain their lives.
