Former Big Brother Naija housemate and 2nd Runner-Up of the 2019 edition of the show, Chukwuemeka Okoye (alias ‘Frodd’), has shared an awful experience he had with someone he offered to assist.
Okoye, who said he made a decision to do a giveaway to 10 single mothers, said he erroneously credited N50, 000, instead of N5,000 to one of the women.
He said he planned to share N50,000 to 10 single mothers but mistakenly sent N50,000 to one of them.
On learning of his error, he said he asked the lady to return N45,000 but the lady reportedly told him she would only return N30,000.
On persistent negotiation with the lady, she was said to have agreed to return N35,000 instead.
He said she took N10, 000 out of the money he had sent, and forwarded N34, 900 after deducting N100 for bank charges.
Frodd said the lady then told him that he should consider her as a nice person to even return the amount she sent to him.
According to him, the lady concluded her conversation by telling Frodd that she is sure that N10,000 is an intangible amount of money to him, and that he can even give more than this sum to people who need help.
