Nigerian artiste and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Rico Swavey has been confirmed dead after a ghastly accident.

On Tuesday 11 October, a colleague of his, Alex Asogwa aka Alex Unusual, shared the sad news about his involvement in a ghastly car accident on her Instagram account. She further told her followers that he was on life support due to the fatal accident, adding that the doctors were trying to revive Rico Swavey as of the time she left the hospital.

Several celebrities including Alex Unusual and Tobi Bakre further requested a donation to save Rico’s life.

“Pls help save Rico. He had a really bad car accident. We have to keep him on life support and continue to pay the rising medical bills while we pray for God’s miracle. Can’t do it alone”. Tobi wrote on his Instagram page.

Sadly, in a new development shared by Tobi Bakre on his social media account, the actor posted a picture of himself and Rico, announcing the death of his friend.

Tobi wrote; “This is how I will always remember you, rest in peace my brother, thanks to all for your prayers, donations, and care. God knows best”

Also, fellow BBNaija star, Alex Unusual announced Rico’s death on her Twitter account, she wrote “ This is not what we agreed on Rico. Rest in peace #ricoswavey”.

Rick swavey was a member of the Big brother Naija season 3 edition titled “Double Wahala”
