Nollywood actress and former BBNaija housemate, Bisola Aiyeola has recounted her experience before stardom.
Aiyeola made this in a video where she said the advice was ‘unsolicited’.
- Chelsea capture Nigerian-born starlet Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa
- Osinbajo: Nigeria must produce more arms to be steps ahead of bandits, terrorists
She said: “I just say let me drop this, it is unsolicited, but I said let me tell you guys something. I used to think like that before but not anymore. You deserve every good thing life has to offer.
“First things first, there is no award for the best in suffering. If anybody tells you, you’ll collect award, gold medal, bronze medal, for being the best in suffering, my dear, it’s a lie. There is no awards for best in suffering.”
She noted that she had been extremely poor to the extent that she had to wait for her neighbors to cook so she can ‘greet’ them.
“What I can tell you for a fact, being that I have been extremely poor, poor in the sense that I can’t feed myself.
“I literally had to wait for neighbours to cook so I can greet them, so that they can give you food,” she said.
The former BBNaija housemate said comfort is sweet and essential for ones mental health and wellbeing.
“And being on the side where I can afford to purchase any kind of food that I like to eat. Comfort is beautiful; comfort is essential for you mentally; it puts your mind at ease and at peace. If after comfort you decide to go for luxury, it is beautiful, don’t let anybody make you feel bad for desiring luxury things,” the actress said.
