Bayelsa Queens have signed three players to beef up the team for the forthcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
The players are Oscar Precious from Imo Strikers (attacker), Confidence Onen (attacker) from Kwara Ladies and an attacking midfielder Yinusa Zainab from Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos.
The three players were from the just concluded NWFL Championship that was held in Calabar, the Cross Rivers State capital.
Technical Adviser of the Prosperity Girls, Whyte Ogbonda, said they secured the services of Oscar, Yinusa and Onen, to bolster the team most especially the attack so as to have a complete team for next season.

“With the three new players we are well prepared for the commencement of the league”, Whyte said.
“We have difficulty in scoring goals the out-gone season, but with the coming in of two strikers to add to the attacking force and one attacking midfielder, the ‘Prosperity Girls’ are good to go,” he added.
In last season’s abridged format, Bayelsa Queens finished in third place with 22 points from 14 matches to qualify for the Super Six tournament where Edo Queens won their first-ever league title.
The ‘prosperity girls’ won six matches, drew four and lost four. They scored 17 goals and conceded 10, leaving them with a goal difference of +7.
