The Dean of Student Affairs of the Niger Delta University, Amadoma, Bayelsa State, died in a car crash on Saturday, the police disclosed on Sunday.
Police spokesman in the state, SP Asinim Butswat, said the police found the charred lecturer in his burnt car after it had crashed on the Tombia-Amasoma highway.
He said, “On January 21, policemen responded to a scene of a fatal car accident on Tombia-Amassoma road and discovered that the only occupant of the vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was burnt to death.

“The corpse has been evacuated to the morgue. Investigation is ongoing.’’
