The Bauchi State Government has expressed its commitment to develop the state to become a commercial hub for investors and commercial activities.
The commissioner, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mohammad Binni Abdulkadir, said this when he received the leadership of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, and the State Chamber of Commerce on a courtesy call in his office.
He said the ministry is striving towards actualizing the present administration’s commitment in exploring the potential in the commerce sector.
The commissioner highlighted the present administration’s desire to create job opportunities among youths in the state.

Abdulkadir explained that Governor Bala Mohammed has given priority to creating a befitting environment for industrialisation to thrive across the state. He said by awarding contracts to home-based companies and industries, the state government is exposing their potential to the global community.
He reassured the delegation of his ministry’s commitment to developing commercial activities and making Bauchi a hub for investors.
The leader of the team and President of Bauchi State Chamber of Commerce, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Danmalikin Bauchi, called on the commissioner to work with the chamber and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) in developing commercial activities and industrialisation in Bauchi State.
