Bauchi State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the biometric registration of intending pilgrims for the 2019 Hajj from the state.
The Board’s spokesperson, Muhammad Sani Yunusa disclosed in a statement that the biometric capture of the intending pilgrims will start with those who have deposited up to N1,000,000.
According to him intending pilgrims from Katagum zone comprising Katagum, Zaki, Shira, Gamawa, Jama’are and Itas/Gadau local government areas will have their biometric registration on Wednesday, 20th March,2019.
Intending pilgrims from Bauchi Central which comprises Ningi, Warji, Ganjuwa, Darazo, Dambam and Misau local governments will be captured on Thursday,21st March,2019.
The statement added that, intending pilgrims from Bauchi zone comprising of Alkaleri,Toro,Tafawa Balewa , Kirfi, Dass and Bogoro will have their Biometric capture on March 25th,2019.
The commission therefore called on all intending pilgrims to come out on the scheduled dates and give maximum support for the success of the exercise.
