Bauchi State Government has disbursed N280, 013,750 to the State’s Education Program Investment Project (SEPIP) for schools improvement.
Disclosing this in a press statement, secretary to Bauchi State APC Vanguard for Peace and Tranquility, Dr. Kaseem Tafawa Balewa, said apart from the disbursement of the amount, the state government has also embarked on the training of 350 selected teachers from senior and junior secondary as well as primary schools across the state in modern teaching techniques at the Institute of Education, Kangere.
The statement added that 50 principals of secondary schools and technical colleges as well as head teachers were to undergo intensive training on train the trainers programme at the National Teachers Institute (NTI), Kaduna.
