The Bauchi state police command has handed over recovered arms and ammunition to the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW).
The state’s Commissioner of Police, Umar Mamman Sanda, handed over the recovered weapons and ammunition on Tuesday.

The recovered weapons, according to the CP, included 25 AK-47 rifles, one locally made SMG, one locally fabricated AK47, one English Barretta and one magazine, among others.
Responding, the Director of Operations at the Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), CP Chris Owolabi, commended the efforts of the state police command in recovering the arms and ammunition.
