Various organisations working in health interventions in Bauchi state yesterday ended a 3-day workshop on harmonising community structures in health services to deliver better health care to the people of the state.
Dr. Saidu Aliyu Gital, the state’s Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, told Daily Trust that the workshop which ended in Jos was organised by the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency in collaboration with Bauchi Opportunities for Responsive Neonatal and Maternal Health (BORN) project and implemented by Plan International.
Also speaking, the Executive Chairman, Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Malaria (BACATMA) Dr. Mansur Dada said the state was loaded with health volunteers due to the number of MDAs and international partners working to ensure better health care delivery.
