While responding, Governor Abubakar welcome the new police commissioner to the state saying that Bauchi has transformed from a crisis-prone state to the most peaceful and secure state in the Northeast.
He said that the state has been enjoying relative peace with no serious incidence in the last four year.
He therefore called on the police and other security agencies to sharpen their intelligence gathering mechanism to suppress the activities of criminal elements trying to cause crisis in the state.
