Bauchi gets new police commissioner

A new Police Commissioner has been appointed for Bauchi State Police Command.

This was contained in a statement by the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar.

The new commissioner of Police, CP Ali Aji Janga replaced Sanusi Nma Lemu.

“The Bauchi State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that, a new Commissioner of Police in person of CP Ali Aji Janga, psc has been posted to the state and has assumed duty today 08/01/2019 and taken over from the former Commissioner of Police CP Sanusi Nma Lemu, psc who has proceeded on Senior Executive Course at National Institute For Policy And Strategic Studies (NIPPS), Kuru, Jos.”

According to the statement, the new Police Commissioner who hails from Borno State is a seasoned and experienced Police Officer with vast experience in policing within and outside the country.

“He holds bachelor degree in Law from University of Maiduguri and joined the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on 3rd March, 1990.

Since then he has occupied various positions and posts both within and outside the country. His last posting was Commissioner of Police in charge of Kogi State Command.”
