Bauchi Federal Poly mounts two new courses

Rector of the institution, Engineer Shuaibu Musa, stated this during the matriculation of 10,922 students admitted by the institution for 2014/2015 academic session.
Musa said the institution has established a School of Agriculture comprising Department of Forestry technology and animal health and production technology.
He announced that all the academic programmes of the institution have been accredited while it has mounted new programmes on Higher National Diploma in Statistics, Building, Nutrition and Dietary, Marketing and Public Administration.
He said 10,922 students out of the 21,000 students that applied for admission, were admitted by the institution.
Musa explained that 1,696 students were for the Higher National Diploma, 3,218 for national diploma and 495 students for the polytechnic diploma.
Others he said included 841 students for the Pre-National Diploma, 15 for the certificates courses and six others for the higher diploma of the institution.
The registrar of the institution, Hajiya Rakiya Arabi warned the students against indecent dressing, cultism, examination malpractices and other vices on the campus.
