Kirfi urged the foundation to engage critical stakeholders like security operatives, religious leaders, traditional institutions, local youth groups with a view to reducing violence against women and children in the state to the barest minimum.

Earlier in her remark, Executive Director of Ikra Foundation, Bar Amina Garuba, said her foundation partnered with the state’s Ministry for Justice in concluding the process of gazetting the VAPP Law to address gender gaps.
