This film started showing Friday and promises over two hours of comedy. Veteran Nollywood stars like Bimbo Ademoye, Funke Akindele (Jenifa), Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Nkem Owoh (Osuofia), Sola Sobowale, Tina Mba, and Tobi Makinde lead cast of the film. 

It was co-directed by Funke Akindele and Tobi Makinde. It follows the typical lifestyle of food vendors in Nigeria as after a lifetime of rivalry, two women find themselves at loggerheads once again when they set up food businesses on the same street.

This films runs for three hours and 12 minutes. Bailey Bass, CCH Pounder, Cliff Curtis., Edie Falco, Giovanni Ribisi, Jamie Flatters, Jemaine Clement, Joel David Moore, Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Zoe Saldana star in this film that was directed by James Cameron. The synopsis reads:

U-turn 

The humorous African drama takes the number two spot on the chart. U-turn was released in 2021 and starred phenomenal characters like Ebun Oloyede, Tina Mba, Jide Kosoko, Muyiwa Adegoke, among others. It started showing on Netflix this week. The movie tells the story of a driver and his lone passenger who embarks on a journey while concealing their true intentions from one another

 

The griot

The 2021 drama takes seventh spot on the chat. The griot, directed by Adeoluwa Owu tells us the story of a talented but shy storyteller who faces betrayal after his best friend steals his tales in order to impress the woman, they both love. The movie starred Adedimeji Lateef, Goodness Emmanuel, Temiloluwa Fosudo, Kunle Afod, Yewande Adekoya amongst others.
