In the pursuit of ultimate toughness and reliability, IVM G80 comes in handy; it’s tough and reliable.
The first Nigerian native carmaker – Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (IVM), has finally released the two long-awaited luxurious SUV IVM G80 and G40.
The vehicle is modelled after the Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, with enough leg room and built for both off-road and luxury needs.
The Chairman of IVM, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, had made a commitment to Nigerians before 2017 that a made-in-Nigeria luxury SUV would be made to widen the vehicles’ range in order to serve Nigerian high-level officials who desired to drive a car made by the natives.
The G80 then debuted in 2017 with a lot of orders, especially by the Nigerian Army (NA) that often looked inwards to patronise local vehicles.
According to INNOSON, 70 per cent of all its car parts are produced in Nigeria, while the rest are sourced from Japan, China and Germany, Autojosh, a vehicle review site, said.
