Announcing the suspension, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Rufai Ahmed Alkali said Alhaji Basharu has been directed to immediately swear-in all local government chairmen of the party as approved by the North East Zonal Secretariat.
Alkali said the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has directed all stakeholders in the Borno State chapter to ensure that all the party supporters complied with the directives and show loyalty to the State Executive Committee.
The party advised Alhaji Basharu to ensure that all party members in his domain are carried along in party affairs.
