BASF West Africa partners with GAIN

BASF, the world’s leading chemical company, has demonstrated its commitment towards solving the perennial challenge of agricultural post-harvest losses by partnering with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, GAIN, towards its Cold Chain Mapping Project currently underway in Nigeria. This study aims to identify the current cold storage capacity of Nigeria in both frozen and ambient temperature segments. 

Speaking on the partnership, the Managing Director, BASF West Africa, Dr. Jean-Marc Ricca said “within the Cold Chain, BASF, as the leading provider of polyurethane insulation solutions globally for more than 150 years, is the right partner to help develop the Cold Chain of Nigeria.
