Senator Barau praised Jita’s move to the APC, describing it as a positive development. “As a young and talented artist, Ali Jita will bring valuable experience and expertise to the party, which will benefit the music industry and Kannywood as a whole. We welcome you to the largest party; you are welcome on board,” he said.
In his remarks, Ali Jita, who also serves as Chairman of the Kano Singers Association, known as Murya Daya, expressed his admiration for Senator Barau. “I was initially drawn to the Kwankwasiyya Movement by its leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. However, I have now left the red cap movement and am officially joining the APC,” he stated.
