Barau welcomes Kannywood singer Ali Jita to APC

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has welcomed renowned Kannywood singer Ali Isa Jita to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Ali Jita announced his defection during a courtesy visit to Senator Barau at his residence in Abuja on Thursday, according to a statement by Ismail Mudashir, the Special Adviser to the Deputy President of the Senate on Media and Publicity.

Senator Barau praised Jita’s move to the APC, describing it as a positive development. “As a young and talented artist, Ali Jita will bring valuable experience and expertise to the party, which will benefit the music industry and Kannywood as a whole. We welcome you to the largest party; you are welcome on board,” he said.
