Baraje confident Plateau United will soar high

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Plateau United, Coach Zachary Baraje has expressed confidence that his team will give opponents a run for their money in the coming season.
In a chat with SHOT! the seasoned tactician said although he is just taking over the Plateau State club, he is in a familiar terrain so there is nothing to worry about.
He said he is going to make do with what is available to positively transform the club that just returned to the elite division after some years in the lower division.
Baraje therefore said his ambition is to make sure that Plateau United perform well but that will also depend on the much needed support from the sponsors of the club.
“I think we are set for the new season. I have just taken over the club but I have the feeling that Plateau United will not disappoint.
“We are just getting back to the Nigeria Premier League but we have been here before so I don’t think there is anything to worry about.
“I have assessed the players and from what we have, I think we can face our opponents. We are not overhauling the team. Maybe one or two players will come in,” he said.
He said he will not disappoint the management of Plateau United for the confidence reposed in him.
“ I like challenges and this is another opportunity for me to prove my mettle as a one of the best coaches around.
“ I have handled many clubs in the Nigerian Professional league so I am used to some of the challenges that I am going to face in the league,” he said.
