Bandits in the early hours of Sunday shot a vigilante, abducted his wife, two children and two other children from another couple living in the same compound in Kwasare community off the Abuja-Kaduna highway in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
A community leader, John Alpha Dogo, told City & Crime that the bandits who arrived around 12am went straight to the house of the vigilante.

He explained that, “On arrival, they shot the vigilante twice on his leg but he managed to escape and was rushed to the Sabon-Wuse General Hospital in Tafa LGA of Niger state.
The state’s police spokesman, ASP Mansur Hassan, did not reply to calls and an SMS from our reporter on the incident.
