Bandits have reportedly shot and injured three herders and rustled 360 cows in three settlements in Janjala community in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
A resident, Shuaibu Usman, said the incident happened on Saturday at about 5pm when the bandits wielding AK-47 rifles attacked three Fulani settlements.

He said, “People from Janjala were thrown into panic when the bandits struck and started shooting, which led to three herders sustaining injuries.”
He further said the bandits escaped with the cows through neighbouring Gidan-Makeri-Hayin Dam across River Gurara before the arrival of troops from Kagarko town.
