Sakaba is one of the four local government areas that made up Zuru emirate.
Last Thursday, bandits massacred 88 people in eight villages of Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area.
According to him, the bandits who usually infiltrate into the state through kebbi/Zamfara and Kebbi/Niger boundaries, invaded the communities in broad daylight and carted away cattle.
On whether some villagers were killed, Mani said no life was lost as the bandits who invaded the communities arrived on over 500 motorcycles, with each carrying a passenger or two.
He said, “Bandits from Zamfara and Niger invaded some communities in Sakaba LGA of Kebbi State and rustled five herds of cattle.
“In each herd, there are 100 cattle. No life was lost as they only targeted cattle.”
The spokesperson of the state’s police command, DSP Nafiu Abubakar, did not pick Daily Trust‘s phone call to his phone number.
Also, he didn’t respond to the text massage sent to him as at the time of filing this report.
