Bandits invaded Kidinu community in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna State, killing a man and abducting two women in the area.
The incident, which occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, sent fear into the minds of the residents.
Daily Trust gathered that the bandits also attacked Kakau Daji, a nearby community, on Monday and abducted three women.
A youth leader in the area, simply identified as Zawali, confirmed the incident and said one of the abducted women was his cousin.
“Honestly, we are not happy with the current situation in this area because on Monday the bandits abducted three women at Kakau Daji. They returned on Tuesday to rustle cows at Kakau station. This morning of Wednesday, they killed a family man and abducted two women at Kidinu community,” he said.

He pleaded that the authorities should do the needful and restore peace to their area, saying a few weeks ago, the communities were calm, but the recent incidents showed the bandits are returning with their attacks.
When contacted, the spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Mansur Hassan, who promised to call back after getting details from the area, hadn’t at the time of filing the report.
